Fisher wrote to Oxford University Press, “I should call the book something like The Genetical Theory of Natural Selection.” Within the year F isher 's book had been published, and in May we can celebrate its seventieth birthday. Last year Oxford republished in facsimile the edition as a Variorum Edition Cited by: Much of Fisher’s correspondence and other writings are now available online through the R.A. Fisher Digital Archive. Rare Books & Special Collections also holds a book collection dedicated to Fisher which includes books he was given as prizes, editions of his own works and a small portion of his personal library. The collection can be viewed in the Special Collections reading room on level.
